Jutang Gao
is an architectural researcher/designer who focuses on developing novel computational methods for conceptualizing, designing, and fabricating architectural instances. He is interested in developing novel methods utilizing advanced fabrication/computation techniques to solve real-world problems. He believes that technologies such as AI, robotic fabrication/construction, and high-performative materials will profoundly reshape how humans imagine, build, and interact with their physical environment and, therefore, help human society achieve a more sustainable coexistence with the broader world.
This directory of works involves explorations within the territories mentioned above, which are categorized and divided into three panels. The contents include individual and group work, mainly accomplished during Jutang's studies at the University of Michigan Taubman College (USA) and Southeast University (China).
